Entries are now being accepted from teams of four which can be made up of amateurs only or include a Golf Professional.

Teams can be entered from golf clubs, societies, businesses or even groups of friends. The handicap limit for ladies is 36 and 28 for men. Entry cost per team is £140 which includes a post play meal and all funds raised are invested back into developing golf in Cambridgeshire.

Competition prizes include medal score cash prizes for Professionals, the Welton Trophy for the winning team with all four players being members of the same golf club and individual prizes including nearest the pin, longest drive, putting and a prize draw.

Marc Smith, the county development officer, commented: “Golf is a great game for everyone who enjoys friendship, fresh air and exercise. This event is a fun day out and the funds raised will help Cambridgeshire County Golf Partnership to support the development of the game across the county so that more people can learn the sport."
