The world's best players will be heading to Woburn next month to compete for one of the most coveted prizes in world golf. Now you have the chance to tee up alongside them at the Pro-Am for the Ricoh Women’s British Open on Tuesday 26 July.
Heading the field will be world number one will join defending champion Inbee Park along with a star-studded list of past champions including Mo Martin, Stacy Lewis, Yani Tseng, and Karrie Webb. Matthew, who won the title at Royal Lytham in 2009, remarkably just 11 weeks after the birth of her second daughter, will feature alongside other home favourites; British No.1 Charley Hull and Solheim Cup star Mel Reid.
Despite returning to Woburn for the tenth time in the event's history, this year will mark the first time the best players will test their skills over Woburn’s newest course, the Marquess, with a prize fund of UK £2,072,253 (US $3 million) up for grabs.
Spectators at this year’s Ricoh Women’s British Open will not only enjoy free parking but will also have the opportunity to savour the atmosphere by checking out the Championship Village which will host a number of exhibition and retail units, interactive activities, and public catering facilities for the whole family to enjoy.
