PGA National Turkey Antalya Golf Club

PGA National Turkey Antalya Golf Club has embarked on its own ‘European Tour’, offering golf lovers across the continent the chance to experience the many delights of playing at Turkey’s first 36-hole golf resort.

The award-winning venue in Belek – Turkey’s golfing Riviera – is showcasing the resort’s extensive golf, sports and leisure facilities in five of Europe’s key golfing markets over the coming months. PGA National Turkey launched its promotional drive at the start of this month by exhibiting at the Helsinki Golf Show and Salon du Golf in Paris, before heading to Golf Expo in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The latest leg of the ‘European Tour’ took place at the Scottish Golf Show in Glasgow, with thousands of golfers flocking to discover more about playing golf at the resort before the spring campaign reaches its climax at the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth from May 24-27.

Ahmet Cagil, general manager at PGA National Turkey Antalya Golf Club, said:

“After a difficult couple of years, Turkish golf resorts are really bouncing back and it’s clear from the response that we’ve received at all the shows that there is a real appetite for playing golf in Turkey and at PGA National Turkey… The feedback from everywhere we’ve been has been tremendous, and we can’t wait to attend the BMW PGA Championship – the European Tour’s flagship event – and showcase our fabulous resort to a key golfing audience.”

Situated only 25 minutes from Antalya, PGA National Turkey Antalya Golf Club’s extensive facilities include two 18-hole golf courses – the PGA Sultan, host of the 2012 Turkish Airlines World Golf Final, and The Pasha. The resort recently joined a select group of courses to receive the official endorsement of The Professional Golfers’ Association, being renamed as PGA National Turkey.

Complementing the layouts are excellent practice facilities, including a 300-metre driving range and academy, while away from the fairways, the resort boats two lavish hotels- the 176-room luxury five-star Kempinski Hotel, The Dome, and the five-star, 442-room, Sirene Belek Hotel. Hotel guests can enjoy access to numerous other sports and leisure facilities, including tennis, football, water sports, kids’ clubs, fabulous pier, and two luxury spas, as well as an array of opulent culinary experiences at a variety of bars and restaurants.
