Following on from yet another successful year for the Titleist Order of Merit, powered by HowDidiDo, golfers are now able to register in advance for the 2018 competition, which promises to raise the bar even higher.
Almost 16,000 golfers, from more than 1,600 HowDidiDo registered clubs, participated in the 2017 Titleist Order of Merit, which held its recent grand finals at the prestigious four-time Open Championship venue, Trump Turnberry.
All golfers registered with HowDidiDo's 1,600-plus UK and Ireland golf clubs are eligible for the Titleist Order of Merit and, with more than 11,000 golfers already registered for 2018, HowDidiDo is anticipating a record number of entries for next year's competition.
As ever, entry is free and HowDidiDo monitors each competitor's medal rounds, selecting the five best from each player, in each handicap division, throughout the qualifying period, which runs from April 1 to September 30, 2018.
The best performing in each category will then win a place in the 2018 grand final, where an array of top prizes are available to be won.
HowDidiDo spokesman Barry Dyett said: "The bar has been raised in terms of the event with the 2017 competition: the whole experience at the grand final at Trump Turnberry was exceptional and the reaction from those who competed was wholly enthusiastic. Titleist is a fabulous title sponsor and always provides something extra for the competitors.
"And, when you consider, you don't have to do anything to compete in the event other than register - as all your scores are collated and analysed - it shows that, actually, you really can get something for nothing …"
