With Tiger Woods making his much awaited return at the Hero World Challenge next week we count five of the former World No. 1's greatest shots.

As questions loom about the American's fitness, his form and even at this late stage whether he will compete in the World Challenge event, it's worth reminiscing about the genius he once was.

1997 Phoenix Open- TPC Scottsdale

On Tiger's first full season on the PGA Tour he pulls of this incredible ace on the 'world's loudest golf hole,' the 16th at TPC Scottsdale, and by doing so sent thousands of fans into a wild frenzy.

2001 PLAYERS Championship, TPC Sawgrass

One of the greatest putts ever seen, this treacherous triple breaker would provide the one-shot lead that Tiger needed to win the 2001 PLAYERS Championship.

2005 Masters- Augusta

Perhaps the greatest shot of all time, few won't recognise this incredible chip from the edge of the 16th green at Augusta. Tiger would go onto win the Green Jacket in a play-off against Chris DiMarco.

1996 Milwaukee Open- Brown Deer Park

Tiger said hello to the world in dramatic fashion with this hole-in-one during his first ever tournament as a pro at Brown Deer Park.

2002 PGA Championship- Hazeltine

One of the most remarkable shots ever played. Just watch and admire.
