For the fourth year in a row, Ufford Park has played host to the Disabled British Golf Open.
With 22 golfers travelling from across the UK to participate, it would be Ashley Harris who would come out on top, with Robert Parsons taking the honours in the nett category.
The event has become a regular feature at the 18-hole award-winning Suffolk golf venue, which began hosting the tournament in 2014.
Ray Lee, this year’s tournament organiser said “We were delighted by the turn out for this year’s event and we believe it is getting stronger every year, with more players expressing an interest and support from our Ufford Park volunteers their time to help with bunker raking and ball spotting. Ufford Park has been a great venue for us with its many disabled access points and facilities, which explains why we came back here for the fourth year running. We look forward to many successful British Disabled Golf Open tournaments in the future.”
Stuart Robertson, Director of Golf at Ufford Park said:
“We’re proud to have hosted this important tournament for another year, and we were impressed by the high standard of play amongst participants.”
