France's Christine Petit-Martin took home the silverware at the Irish Women’s Open Stroke Play after carding a final round one-under-par 71 at Belvoir Park.

Heading into the third round with a five shot lead, she never looked like being challenged, eventually finishing ten shots clear of second placed Catherine Rawthore.

The England international jumped up the leaderboard with a 3-under-par back nine, to leapfrog Gertie McMullen, who finish a shot further back.

The Senior Women’s Home Internationals Team was also announced and will travel to Newport, Wales next month;
