English players filled the first three places in the Loretto School Scottish Under-16 girls' open tournament at Aberdour Golf Club.

Hannah Screen (Berkhamsted) led the way with rounds of 68 and 74 for a total of 142, eight over par for 36 holes over the par 67 lay-out which has a standard scratch score of 72. The CSS for both days was 72.
Runner-up, four shots behind Hannah, were Natasha Slater (Furness) and Annabel Fuller (Rosehampton). Both had two rounds of 73.
Leading Scot, in a tie for eighth place was Louise Duncan (West Kilbride who had scores of 80 and 73 for 153. Her second round contained three birdie 2s.
