Do you dread finding your golf ball plugged in a bunker? Accept that golf isn’t always perfect and enjoy the challenge! Follow Samantha Head’s simple technique to help you splash the ball out.
Square up your stance and place more weight on your front foot. Toe the club in slightly, so it points left of the target. Break your wrists on your backswing, as this will make your swing steeper to help the ball out.
The key is to leave the clubhead in the sand so as it meets with the resistance of the sand at impact the clubface will be forced open, sending the ball straight at the target.
