Most women hit the ball pretty straight, but it’s useful to have shaped shots in your bag as when the odds are against you, they may help you to save par.
This is the same as a left to right shot but the opposite way round. Simply adjust your stance so your feet and shoulders are aiming right.
Place the club behind the ball with the clubface (closed), aiming in the direction of the target.
Swing along your body and feet alignment – in to out. With the clubface closed to the path, the ball will begin to fly towards your aim and curve towards the target. Stand up in your posture slightly too as this will help to flatten out your swing and encourage the draw/hooking ball flight.
It’s important to feel like you are exaggerating the swing path to ensure the curve will happen.
